As a child, we all have lofty ambitions. We proudly exclaim that one day we’ll be an astronaut or movie star, maybe even a ballerina. As we grow and our interests develop, we usually settle on a more conventional – and less glamorous – career path. Many of us go to school to receive the education we need to eventually enter the workforce in our chosen profession.

But not everyone works this way. If you’ve ever struggled to answer the question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” there is a good chance you could be a multipotentialite – a person with varied interests and an even wider skill set.
